@ColourfulMB9 yes, yes... obesity over possible lung cancer, your stamina's reduced either way. i'd rather look like a badass and die slowly than be fat, and walk slowly. FUCK YEAH!

My grampa sam died from cig cancer, and on the day of his funeral my dads best friend died from the same thing. Within a month my gramma died from cig induced emphysema. Shortly after my other grampa died from multiple illneses, some caused by somking as well.My mom is cutting back. My dad still smokes more than a pack a day...

@ColourfulMB9 Yeah, I put on weight too and then I realized that I just changed my nicotine addiction for a food addiction. Yes, I like waking up alive and healthy too!! Great going!!!

@szqsk8 We both still have times when we'll joking say, Hey, gimme a smoke. It's sure a temptation sometimes, but we just can NOT ever smoke cigarettes again!! Great that you're 30 years out!! WOW!! You rock!

I quit smoking 30 years ago (when I was 21). Even after all this time has gone by, I still sometimes think "I could use a good menthol cigg". They are so addictive! Of course I don't dare have one or cheat by having one quick drag off of someone's cigg cuz it would have me hooked again like that. I don't think the urge ever leaves you completely. |
